Die Norm ist für alle werksmäßig endgefertigten Dämmstoffe aus Schaumglas (CG), die für die Wärmedämmung, nicht aber für die Trittschalldämmung im Hochbau verwendet werden, an- zuwenden. Sie enthält die an diese Dämmstoffe zu stellenden Anforderungen sowie die zugehörigen Verfahrensbestimmungen für die Prüfung, Überwachung und Kennzeichnung dieser Pro- dukte. Die zur Feststellung der geforderten Eigenschaften notwendigen Prüfmethoden sind der ÖNORM B 6010 zu entnehmen.Schaumglas ist ein Dämmstoff aus silikatischem Glas, aufge- schäumt durch Zugabe eines Treibmittels, der im endgültigen Zustand geschlossene, wasserdampfdichte Zellen aufweist. Die Norm sieht eine Fremdüberwachung aufgrund eines Überwa- chungsvertrages mit einer österreichischen staatlich autori-sierten Prüfanstalt sowie die Kennzeichnung "ÖNORM B 6041 geprüft" vor.
