This Austrian Standard shall be applied jointly with ÖNORM 5330-1; it includes complementary requirements for steel cases produced from wrought or extruded steel sheet profiles, intended to be incorporated into solid walls. It applies to rebated and butt (unrebated) single leaf doors with a mass of maximum 90 kg. For steel cases installed in gypsum plasterboard walls, ÖNORM B 5330-10 applies. For the installation of steel cases, ÖNORM B 5335 shall be used; mounting instructions of the case manufacturers should also be observed.
