In the present ÖNORM measures to ensure the durability of newly manufactured anchors of building structures are regulated depending on the useful life planned by the client. The requirements for corrosion protection for permanent anchors are also specified. The tasks of the anchor system supplier, the construction supervision client (FBA-AG) and the construction manager-contractor (FBL-AN) are regulated.
Requirements for the durability of dead man's anchors can be considered accordingly to this ÖNORM.
Basic requirements for the monitoring, control and testing of anchored retaining structures in the course of traffic routes can be found in RVS 13.03.21.
For anchoring protective structures against natural hazards (e.g. falling rocks, avalanches and debris flows), please refer to the ONR series ONR 24800 to ONR 24810.
