Diese ÖNORM bildet die Grundlage für die materialgerechte Wahl des Aufbaues von nichttragenden ein- oder mehrschaligen Innenwänden unterschiedlicher Konstruktion, Herstellung bzw. Anwendung. Diese ÖNORM ist nicht anzuwenden: - für bewegliche Innenwände (zB Schiebe-, Faltwände) und - für Schrankwände, - Innenwände aus Holz, - Innenwände aus Glas. Diese ÖNORM bezieht sich auf die Produktnormen für die zur Verwendung kommenden Baustoffe. Verarbeitungsrichtlinien, funktionsbedingte Anforderungen sowie etwaige bauphysikalische Anforderungen sind den entsprechenden Vorschriften und ÖNORMEN zu entnehmen. Grundsätzlich gilt diese ÖNORM für Wände, die auf der Baustelle hergestellt oder in einem Werk vorgefertigt werden. Die in den verschiedenen Produktnormen festgelegten Prüfungen haben das Ziel, den Nachweis der gleichbleibenden Produktgüte bzw. der Erfüllung der Normanforderungen an das jeweilige Produkt zu erbringen. Ein unmittelbarer Bezug zur Qualität der Stoffe nach der Verarbeitung auf der Baustelle kann damit nicht abgeleitet werden.
