Diese Norm legt die Bedingungen zur Herstellung von Probekörpern und die zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Polybuten Formmassen anzuwendenden Prüfmethoden fest. Anforderungen an die Behandlung des Probematerials und für das Konditionieren des Probematerials vor der Herstellung der Probekörper und der Probekörper vor der Prüfung sind ebenfalls enthalten. Verfahren und Bedingungen für die Herstellung der Probekörper und Vorschriften für die Bestimmung der Eigenschaften der Formmasse, aus der die Probekörper hergestellt werden, sind angegeben. Eigenschaften und Prüfmethoden, die anwendbar und notwendig sind, um PB Formmassen zu charakterisieren, sind aufgelistet.
