Diese ÖNORM beschreibt die Extraktion jenes Anteils von Spurenelementen (einschließlich der Problemelemente) aus landwirtschaftlich, gärtnerisch und forstwirtschaftlich genutzten Böden, der mit Ammoniumacetatlösung extrahiert werden kann. Sie wird angewandt, um jenen Anteil an Elementen im Boden zu bestimmen, der als "mobil" bezeichnet wird; insbesondere dient sie zur Beurteilung der ökologischen Bedeutung erhöhter Elementkonzentrationen anhand von Prüfwerten und allenfalls zur Festlegung des Handlungsbedarfs.
