Die vorliegende Norm enthält die besonderen Anforderungen an kontinuierlich organisch beschichtete (bandbeschichtete) Flacherzeugnisse aus Stahl, die für den Bauaußeneinsatz vorgesehen sind. Allgemeine Informationen zu kontinuierlich organisch beschichteten Flacherzeugnissen aus Stahl sind in EN 10169-1 enthalten. Bei den erfaßten Erzeugnissen handelt es sich um Breitband, daraus abgelängtes Blech, längsgeteiltes Breitband, Band in Walzbreiten unter 600 mm und Stäbe (aus Blech oder Band).
