Dieser Teil von ISO 787 legt ein allgemeines Prüfverfahren zum Vergleich der Farbe von Weiß-, Schwarz- und Buntpigmenten in Purton-Systemen mit einem vereinbarten Bezugspigment mittels eines farbmetrischen Verfahrens fest. ANMERKUNG 1 Wenn das in diesem Teil von ISO 787 festgelegte allgemeine Prüfverfahren für ein gegebenes Pigment anwendbar ist, braucht in der Internationalen Norm, die die Anforderungen an das jeweilige Pigment enthält, nur ein Querverweis auf ISO 787-25 aufgenommen zu werden, mit einem Hinweis auf jede einzelne Abweichung, die im Hinblick auf die besonderen Eigenschaften des betreffenden Materials notwendig ist. Nur wenn das allgemeine, in diesem Teil von ISO 787 aufgeführte Verfahren für ein bestimmtes Material nicht anwendbar ist, ist ein davon abweichendes photometrisches Verfahren für den Farbvergleich festzulegen.
