Dieser Teil von ISO 7391 legt die Bestimmungen zur Herstellung von Probekörpern und die zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Polycarbonat-Formmassen anzuwendenden Prüfverfahren fest. Anforderungen an die Behandlung des Probematerials und für das Konditionieren des Probematerials vor der Herstellung der Probekörper und der Probekörper vor der Prüfung sind ebenfalls enthalten. Verfahren und Bedingungen für die Herstellung der Probekörper und Vorschriften für die Bestimmung der Eigenschaften der Formmasse, aus der die Probekörper hergestellt werden, sind angegeben. Eigenschaften und Prüfverfahren, die anwendbar und notwendig sind, um Polycarbonat-Formmassen zu charakterisieren, sind aufgelistet.
