Festgelegt sind die wichtigsten Anforderungen an konstruktive, maßliche und funktionelle Eigenschaften von Meßuhren mit einem Skalenteilungswert von 0,01 mm, 0,002 mm und 0,001 mm in mindestens 100facher, 500facher und 700facher Vergrößerung. Diese Festlegungen gelten für Meßuhren mit einem maximalen Gehäusedurchmesser von 60 mm, einer Meßspanne bis zu 10 mm und einem Skalenteilungswert von 0,01 mm bzw. 0,002 mm und mit einer Meßspanne von 1 mm und einem Skalenteilungswert von 0,001 mm.
