Dieser Teil von ISO 4623 beschreibt ein Verfahren zum Bewerten der Schutzwirkung von Beschichtungen auf Aluminium gegen Filiformkorrosion, die von einem durch die Beschichtung geschnittenen Ritz ausgeht. Er ist nur zur Beurteilung des Leistungsverhaltens einer Kombination von Substrat und Beschichtung anwendbar. Er dient nicht zur Vorhersage des Leistungsverhaltens einer Beschichtung auf unterschiedlichen Substraten Diese ÖNORM enthält die Europäische Berichtigung AC:2006, mit der in Abschnitt 11 der erste Absatz korrigiert wurde.
