Der vorliegende Teil von ISO 1622 legt ein System für die Bezeichnung von Polystyrol (PS)-Formmassen
fest, das als Grundlage für Spezifikationen angewendet werden kann.
Polystyrol-Kunststofftypen werden mit Hilfe eines Einteilungssystems voneinander unterschieden, das
auf geeigneten Wertebereichen der kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften
Vicat-Erweichungstemperatur und
Schmelze-Volumenfließrate, sowie
Informationen über die Zusammensetzung, vorgesehene Anwendung und/oder Verarbeitungsverfahren,
wichtige Eigenschaften, Additive (Zusatzstoffe) und Farbstoffe beruht.
Dieser Teil von ISO 1622 gilt für alle amorphen Polystyrol-Homopolymere.
Er gilt für gebrauchsfertige Formmassen, modifiziert oder nicht modifiziert mit Farbstoffen, Additiven, Füllstoffen
usw.
