Die Norm behandelt den Erstschutz von warm gewalztem oder kalt geformtem Stahl hinsichtlich der verfügbaren Standard-Schutzverfahren, der konstruktiven Gesichtspunkte, des Umfeldes und der Korrosionsbelastung im Einsatzbereich. Der Einfluß des zum Erstschutz gewählten Metallüberzuges auf erste oder nachfolgende Farbbeschichtungen oder Pulverbeschichtungen wird behandelt.
