Die vorliegende Europäische Norm enthält die Anfangsanforderungen, die Maßanforderungen am Anfang der Lebensdauer, die optischen und mechanischen Anforderungen sowie die umweltbezogenen Anforderungen an das Betriebsverhalten, die ein mit zylindrischen PC-Zirkoniumdioxydferrulen konfektionierter und zusammengesteckter Mehrmoden-SC-RJ-Steckverbindersatz (Steckverbinder/Kupplung/Steckverbinder), der von einem Industriegehäuse geschützt wird, mit elastischer Zentrierhülse, Kupplung und Verbindungskabel erfüllen muss, um als EN-Normprodukt eingestuft zu werden. Das Produkt ist für die Schutzart IP67 bemessen.
