This ÖNORM is applicable for windows and doors and exterior doors for protection against avalanches, specifically for single and multi-leaf elements in all opening types and for non-moving parts (fixed glazing). This ÖNORM is not applicable for windows, doors and exterior doors, to provide protection against rockfall, landslide or flood. In particularly severe disaster avalanches and avalanche protection windows and doors cannot provide absolute protection. The requirements of this ÖNORM apply to the product at the time of delivery by the manufacturer.
