This Austrian Standard includes provisions concerning requirements, testing and marking of hinged doors and gates as well as single and double leaf swing doors from manufacturing with first- and third-party surveillance which, in closed state, restrict penetration of smoke within prescribed limits. Excluded from this ÖNORM are smoke protection closures according to ÖNORM B 3853.
