The present Austrian Standard applies to all sloped or curved roofs up to a slope of roof of 60° and with all roofing and waterproofing. The snow protection systems are against the sliding of snow and ice (calculated with ÖNORM B 1991-1-3 and EN 1991-1-3) and are fixed as protection for the roofings and waterproofing. This Austrian Standard refers to the execution of various types of snow protection systems, which have to be adapted to the roof substructure and the roofing and applicable for the different combinations.
