The present Austrian Standard is applicable to regular safety evaluations within the framework of visual inspections and non-destructive assessments for existing areas including dwelling houses comprising at least one apartment which does not serve as company habitation, natural housing or workers- home, as well as to all other facilities and equipment intended for use. Excepted are the safety evaluations within the object units (e.g. apartments, offices, business rooms, existing plants) which, on the basis of contractual agreements, are subject to exclusive use. Possible official actions and procedures are not covered by this Standard.
