Expert in on-site construction supervision
Demonstrate your competence as a construction supervisor and ensure on-site supervision as the owner's representative on a construction site. Your work profile includes the monitoring of the contractual implementation of a building project with regard to compliance with the construction documents, the budget and time schedule as well as the state of the art.
Who can obtain a certificate?
Natural persons who completed training to become "experts in on-site construction supervision" to the extent of at least 35 hours based on the contents of the certification scheme or evidence of equivalent training or appropriate practical experience.
In addition, applicants have to furnish evidence of:

appropriate school education (min. general or technical secondary school leaving examination ("Matura" or "HTL") or

successful master builder exam or
-
at least three years of work in the field of "on-site construction supervision" or
-
at least five years of relevant specialized work in the construction industry in a position with appropriate responsibilities.
How to get a certificate
- Application for certification using the application form (in German only).

Submission of basic documentation on the qualifications to be certified and evidence on training on on-site construction supervision

Written exam on the skills required according to the certification scheme

After the positive evaluation of the presentation and the exam, the certificate "Expert in on-site construction supervision" is issued and you may use the conformity mark "Certified by Austrian Standards".

To extend the validity of the certificate, evidence on completed education and training has to be submitted and an oral re-certification interview has to be performed with a member of the examination board.
