General Terms and Conditions for Educational Events

1. Registration and invoicing

The number of participants is limited for each event.
A differing invoicing address has to be communicated upon registration.
The participation fee has to be paid upon receipt of the invoice and at the latest five days before the event.
Participation in the event can only be guaranteed after receipt of payment.


2. Cancellation

Austrian Standards International and Austrian Standards plus GmbH can only accept cancellations made in writing. Cancellation is subject to a handling fee of € 20. In case of cancellations made seven or less calendar days before the start of the event, we will invoice 50% of the participation fee (handling fee included). If you should cancel one day before the event starts or on the day of the event or if you do not attend the event, you will have to pay the full participation fee (handling fee included).
We will be pleased to welcome a replacement participant – without any extra costs.


3. Cancellation by Austrian Standards International / Austrian Standards plus GmbH

Austrian Standards International and Austrian Standards plus GmbH reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event – also at short notice – for important reasons. Important reasons include the inability of speakers to attend, force majeure and unforeseeable circumstances. We well offer you to transfer your registration to the next event or refund the participation fee already paid. Other expenses incurred by you will not be reimbursed.
